Very good location, walked to most things. Good breakfast, clean efficient hotel with friendly staff. WARNING - some of the local restaurants are truly awful - check reviews before using.

Just returned from a 4 night stay. Fantastic location, everything about the hotel was great. Friendly staff, everyone was helpful. Great breakfast, helped ourselves to as much food and coffee as we wanted. Slept well in a clean room and bathroom was good. We loved our stay in Rome and will be back.

This was our first time staying in Rome. The location of the hotel is perfect for accessing some of the tourist attractions e.g. the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. The room was very basic, we found the bed very hard. The bathroom was modern but the shower very small, you can barely move without hitting the door. No tea/coffee making facilties in the room.

Having stayed in Rome several times I can honestly say that this has been best hotel so far. Clean, comfortable, always had hot water, friendly helpful staff and walking distance to a lot of the areas we wanted to visit. Would definitely recommend. Yes the view was onto another building but for us that wasn’t important. Having stayed in other hotels that felt like hostels this was definitely an upgrade!

a bit undecided about this hotel. staff were friendly and check in was quickly done. we had booked a standard room. we've stayed in many standard rooms in many different places without any major problems, but this one was a bit of a disappointment. we were on the fourth floor, not a problem. the lift up to the room was tiny, hope you're not claustrophobic. the room wasn't the biggest but that wasn't a problem as we were only using it as a base anyway. no view out the window, just the back of other hotels or private appartments but underneath was just a mass of weeds and bushes.....we learned later that it was mosquito central. the room was ridiculously hot so we left the window open. it rained and woke up the mosquitos which meant the husband was munched through the night. so the window was promptly closed. the room didn't have a lot in the way of storage/hanging space and the furniture that was there had clearly seen better days. the bathroom had been upgraded and looked reasonably modern. the carpet in the room though was filthy. don't understand why thye carpet hotel bedrooms when they don't stand a chance of keeping them clean just through the sheer number of guests in and out all year. the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds we've ever come across. it was solid. i might as well have slept on the floor. very disappointing. with regards to the bathroom please be careful on the little step up into the bathroom, we've come across this before in venice so whether it's an italian thing i don't know, there is a little light on the step though so you should be ok. the breakfast room isn't, in my opinion big enough. rather than getting your room number before you enter they catch you in the middle of the floor so you've got people knocking into you or you're turning round knocking into them. it's a bit chaotic. the food isn't anything amazing either. tinned fruit, yogurts, pastries, juice which isn't fresh juice, don't leave you're orange juice sitting too long as it seperates. did find the cold chips/fried potatoes a bit of an odd thing to have but there you go. we did have a couple of issues with our room,428, try and avoid if possible. the bathroom door handle comes off. also, we had no hot water virtually the whole time we were there. eventually, i went to reception to report it. lady on reception couldn't have been nicer and said we could change rooms straight away. was a bit wary of doing this as we only had one day left of our stay but it was no trouble at all. we were moved from 428 to 408. it was a suite. it was like walking into a different hotel. WOW!!! was a more pleasant temperature, slightly more comfortable bed, just looked cleaner altogether. still not a great view but didn't matter, especially when the hotel is situated on a busy main road anyway. i still don't think that it's a four star hotel,3+ yes and there was nothing luxury about it. it's a good hotel for exploring the city as it's nice and central but nothing luxurious about it.
